Charlotte Matthew’s published works include a memoir, Comes with Furniture and People, which was a finalist for Indie Awards in the category of Women’s Issues, an essay collection, Everything in its Brilliance, a novel, The Collapsible Mannequin, and five poetry collections: Still Enough to Be Dreaming, Green Stars, Whistle What Can’t Be Said, and The Half-Life of Regret. Recipient of The Adele F. Robertson Award for Excellence in Teaching. She has received fellowships from The Chautauqua Institute, The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, and The Virginia Center for Creative Arts. Her work has appeared in American Poetry Review, The Chautauqua Literary Journal, Tar River, The Virginia Quarterly Review, and storySouth. She is Associate Professor in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at The University of Virginia.
